Monumental Sports: Stop Energix Advertising!
Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) is the owner of the Washington Wizards. Monumental Sports has partnered with Energix, an Israeli renewable energy company that violates human rights, to advertise during Wizard Games.
By partnering with Energix, which has constructed a solar facility on the Israeli-occupied West Bank and which has plans to erect wind turbines in the Golan Heights, is Monumental Sports returning to the bad old days of Washington professional sports teams? Remember the Washington Redskins?
By using an offensive caricature of an indigenous American for a logo, the Washington Redskins undermined indigenous rights and celebrated ethnic cleansing. By doing business with Energix, Monumental Sports and its Wizards undermine the indigenous rights of the people of Palestine and of the Golan Heights and celebrate ethnic cleansing.
Take action today! Join our campaign to hold Monumental Sports accountable until it terminates its partnership with Energix.

"October 14, 2021 – Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) today

Energix is #32 on UN List
The United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human
Rights (UNHCR), in February 2020, listed Energix Renewable Energies
as a Category G company because of its "use of natural resources, in
particular water and land, for business purposes" in occupied
Palestinian territories. Although Energix sold its Meitarim solar
facility in 2021, it is still in ongoing clashes with communities in
the Golan Heights because of its plans to expand wind energy plants.
Energix uses Israeli courts and Israeli military police against
Syrian Druze populations opposed to the usurpation of land, wind,
and cultural resources.
